Our Story

 

Hi!  Thank you so much for stopping by!! 

My name is Elizabeth. I am a wife to Jeremy; mama to 3 rowdy boys, Keneson, Cody, and Carson, along with our 2 Goldendoodles, Dixie, and her firstborn puppy, Tank; and the owner of Dixieland Dreams. 

Dixieland Dreams is truly this Southern girl's dream come true! 

I vividly remember going to the local Drug Store/Gift Shop in my hometown with my mom when I was growing up.  It was the place to get gifts and cards for family and friends.  Sometimes we would simply go to "window shop," because we loved it so much. 

We would always talk about having our own shop.  She would joke that I should marry a pharmacist so we could open a gift shop in his pharmacy.  And...funny enough...I went on to become an RN and I married a pharmacist!  *He just doesn't own a pharmacy!*

Thankfully, though, online shopping has made the dream I've had since I was a little girl possible! 

The name Dixieland Dreams is in honor of my precious, very Southern, mama and grandmama and the values they instilled in me.  It's also partly from my sweet Dixie.  She's the best dog!!!  Ever!  But, the name is mostly about the dream my mama and I started dreaming all those years ago in Hall & Hall Pharmacy.  

My goal is to offer you quality products that you will love, that will be useful to you in some way - even if it just makes you happy to have it! - and that you will want to tell all of your friends about!
